Plan, don’t panic. That’s the message from Montana officials about the coronavirus. Gov. Steve Bullock announced Tuesday he is activating a task force to coordinate the state’s preparations for a possible outbreak.
Since the flu is out there too, Bullock and state medical officer Greg Holzman said you can take the same steps to avoid getting either virus. Don’t tough your face, sneeze or cough into a tissue or your elbow, disinfect everything you touch and WASH YOUR HANDS!
The CDC recommends taking at least twenty seconds to was your hands thoroughly, which is roughly the Happy Birthday song sung twice, but that’s boring! We suggest you snaz it up a little and sing the chorus of your favorite song (which typically times out to roughly twenty seconds.)
Need suggestions? Try one of these:
“Africa” by Toto
“High Hopes” by Panic! At the Disco
“Raspberry Beret” by Prince
“Truth Hurts” by Lizzo
or even “Jolene” by Dolly Parton!
Most of the songs we play on Mountain FM have choruses around 20 seconds so tune in and keep listening for more ideas!
