Missoula County high school seniors will get to gather for graduation starting next week. Superintendent Rob Watson sent seniors an email Wednesday outlining plans for in-person graduation at five high schools in the county. Seniors are not required to go to graduation, but they must RSVP in order to attend and can bring no more than 2 guests. Seeley Swan will hold graduation in their own gym on May 31st at 1pm. Willard Alternative HS will graduate at Washington Grizzly stadium on Thursday, June 4 at 4pm. Hellgate, Sentinel and Big Sky will graduate at 9am, noon and 3pm on Friday, June 5, with Saturday saved as a backup day in case of weather delays. All students and guests will follow social distancing guidelines and enter and leave from separate entrances. The ceremonies will also be streamed for those not able to attend.
In the Bitterroot, Hamilton High School will graduate on May 31, but details won’t be announced until next week, Corvallis graduation would be held on June 6.Florence-Carlton plans an outdoor ceremony at the football stadium on May 30. Victor will do the same thing on June 7. Darby High is planning an outdoor ceremony at the rodeo grounds May 30. Stevensville will also graduate that day but details aren’t final.
