Missoula County Elections Office is encouraging voters to drop off their ballots early rather than mail them in order to make sure they arrive before Tuesday’s deadline for the upcoming municipal primary on September 12.
Ballots can be dropped off at the Elections Center on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Election Day, there will be a drive through ballot drop off at the Missoula County Fairgrounds, and drop boxes at Hellgate Elementary School off Mullan Road, the former Cold Springs school behind Walmart on Briggs and CS Porter school on Central Avenue off South Reserve.
Election Day drop off locations will be open from 7am to 8pm. The deadline to vote is 8 p.m. this Tuesday.
Voter registration updates can be done in person, with the office closed to new voter registration between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. on September 11, but other services remain available. On Election Day, several drop-off locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and voter registration will be available.
Voters can also check and update their information online at myvoterpageMT.com.
